Bamboo-fibre products have high biodegradable content including bamboo fibre, wood pulp, corn starch ~60-65%
with NO fossil-base plastic.
Around 30-35% melamine as bonding agent of the fibre powder. It complies with EU food safe standard.
Dishwasher (top rack) safe & BPA-free.
Heat resistant up to 100 degree celsius.
How Eco?
That 60-65% consists of bamboo-fibre, corn starch & wood pulp.
Bamboo grows fast without using chemical fertiliser.
Bamboo is a sustainable source.
Safe
Do NOT confuse it with other colourful melamine kids sets available in the market, which looks glossy white, light & thick. They are actually NON-heat resistant, ONLY good for food or drinks up to 60 degree celsius. Misuse can cause leaching of formaldehyde &/or chemical migration to food & drinks.
Our bamboo-fibre kids dinning set is heat resistant up to 100˚C, better & safer.
Wash & Care
Bamboo-fibre has NO fossil-base plastic & it is BPA-free. Our products
comply with FDA & EU food safe grade standard.
Wash with soft sponge or dishwasher, however they are not suitable for microwave, oven or sanitizer.
Durability
Around 2-3 years. Some say products last more than 4 years.
Material will start weakening & become brittle after around 2 years.
Extra info
It will NOT biodegrade under normal usage.
It is under "7", hence do NOT dump it into recycling bin.
